The Chinese edition of The Internet and New Social Formation in China: Fandom publics in the making, authored by Weiyu Zhang 张玮玉, was translated by the CNPolitics translation team in 2016. This work is licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
It is the first crowdsourcing translation project hosted by CNPolitics. The Chinese title 粉丝公众 is derived from the original subtitle’s Fandom Publics. The work has been published on GitHub with the issue tracker being used for erratum and feedback.
The typography of Chinese edition is adapted from the CNPolitics Compilation. The cover design is inspired by the cover image of original edition.
