The Chinese edition of Live Working or Die Fighting: How the working class went global, authored by Paul Mason, was translated by the CNPolitics translation team in 2017. This work is licensed under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. is the second crowdsourcing translation project after the Fandom Publics 粉丝公众.
For censorship’s sake, there are two versions of the Chinese edition. The full version’s title is metaphrased into 打工苟活还是以死抗争——工人阶级的全球化, while the abridged is paraphrased shortly into 劳工的全球化. The latter has been published on GitHub.
There were two proposals for the cover design. Cover image of the adopted is the masterpiece La vague (The Wave) by the Realism artist Jean Désiré Gustave Courbet.
